Burning season is now closed for 2023. 

The next opportunity to burn brush will begin January 15, 2024. 

Thank you for being patient with us during this first year of online burning permit applications through the website portal.  

At this time, please do not try to apply for a burning permit through the portal as the only option of "choose permit type" may still be available. This option is only the heading of "choose permit type" as the "daily" or "seasonal" options are shut off.  The "choose permit type" permit will be incorrect and not valid and we are working on having the application be shut off completely.

The department will make an announcement when burning permits for the 2024 season can be applied for.
